The iconic powder blue of the 2023 France Home Jersey celebrates the early pioneers of women’s soccer in France.
Shades of light blue and lilac resemble the kits of the 1920’s when the first French women’s teams took the field. The pattern is inspired by Orphism, a popular art movement of that era.
A tricolor pattern on the cuffs shows national pride. “France” is printed inside the collar.
The FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023™ marks the debut of new manager Herve Renard, last seen at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ leading the Saudi Arabia team.
France is joined in Group F by Jamaica, Brazil and Panama.
